The offer
- 30% of every payment, recurring. Not the first month. Every month, for as long as they stay. On the current plans, Essential $6, Plus $10, Power $16 per month (annual at ten months’ price), that is $1.80 to $4.80 per customer, per month.
- Your rate is locked per referral. The rate in effect when a referral is attributed to you is the rate that referral pays for the life of that subscription. If we ever change the rate, the change applies only to referrals made after it.
- 90-day attribution, re-armed by every fresh click on your link.
- $25 payout threshold, plus an annual sweep of any smaller balance, so the threshold delays a payout and never traps one.
- Balances do not expire, and a reversal that arrives after we have paid you is never clawed back.
Who it is for
Anyone with an audience that plans its days. Newsletter writers, YouTubers, podcasters, bloggers, course creators, coaches, and productivity people who already get asked what calendar they use.
There is no audience-size requirement. We do not ask for your subscriber count, because it tells a reviewer nothing that a link to your work does not tell them better. What we do ask for is one place we can open and look at: a site, a channel, a newsletter, a podcast.
What we want you to write
Honest, first-hand work. Reviews, comparisons, “alternatives to X” posts, newsletter mentions, videos, podcasts, courses, templates.
Comparisons are the format this program is built around, so your link can point straight at the page that fits the post:
clarocal.com/r/yourcode/
clarocal.com/r/yourcode/pricing/
clarocal.com/r/yourcode/alternatives/motion/
Tell your audience what ClaroCal is not good at, too. It converts better, and it is the reason they trust you.
Paid advertising is allowed, with one exception and one warning: no bidding on ClaroCal brand terms, and traffic routed through an ad network’s redirector often loses attribution in Safari after 24 hours because the browser caps the cookie. The program terms say so plainly rather than letting you find out from a missing commission.
What ClaroCal actually is
Promote the real thing. ClaroCal turns a to-do list into a realistic, time-blocked day and syncs it two ways with Google Calendar. The plans are Essential $6, Plus $10, Power $16 per month (annual at ten months’ price), every one with a 14-day trial. There is no Outlook or Apple Calendar integration, no team features, and no shipped mobile app, so please do not promise them.
How you get paid
Commissions accrue in US dollars on payments we actually receive, and are held 30 days for the refund window before becoming payable. If a payment is refunded the matching commission reverses. If that reversal lands after you have been paid, your balance goes negative and future commissions offset it. We will never ask you for money back.
Payouts run when your payable balance reaches $25, by bank transfer or Interac e-Transfer, plus an annual sweep of anything below the threshold. Payout details are collected when a payout approaches, not when you apply.
Full details, including how attribution can fail and what happens if we part ways, are in the program terms. They are worth the ten minutes.
Applying
Apply here. The form asks for your name, your email, your country of tax residence, where and how you will promote ClaroCal, and the referral code you would like. A person reads it, and we aim to answer within 5 business days.
Your link is not live until you are approved, so please wait for the answer before you publish it. Clicks on an unapproved code are not counted and cannot be recovered.
